What to bring on a jet ski tour
Dress for the beach. You will get wet. The shop gives you the jet ski and the life jacket.
Bring
- Photo ID and a credit card. Sunset Watersports asks for both at check-in.
- Boater card if the driver was born on or after January 1, 1988. See rules and ages.
- Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and water.
- A dry bag or a waterproof phone case. Leave everything else in the car or hotel.
Show up early
- Sunset Watersports: 1 hour before the tour.
- Fury and Key West Boat & Jet Ski Adventures: 30 minutes before.
Cancelling
- Booked on Viator: every jet ski tour on this site can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours ahead.
- Booked direct with a shop: their own rule applies. Ask before you pay.
- Bad weather: shops usually move or refund the trip. Ask when you book.
Weight limits
Each ski has a total weight limit: 450 lb (Sunset Watersports) or 460 lb (Fury). Ask the other shops when you book.
